Welcome to the French Connection Festive Evening Menu 2016 . A printable version of the menu is available by clicking on the link at the bottom of this page as is a copy of the booking form. All bookings must be accompanied by a non refundable deposit of £10 per person which can be paid by cheque by post or by credit card over the telephone. Festive Menus are available from 5th December with a limited A la Carte Menu for tables of up to five diners if you do not wish to have the fixed price menu. For parties exceeding six diners the Festive menu only is available. We are open from the 5th December Monday to Saturday until Christmas Eve.

First Course.
Basket of French Bread and Butter Included

 GF V Butternut, carrot and apple soup with parmesan tuile
 (GF) Duck Rillettes, sweet and sour red onions with toasted sourdough
GF  V  N Camembert with pear, walnuts and honey baked and served with celery batons
GF Chicken breast strips and apricots, pan fried and served glazed with warm apricot sauce on a winter leaf salad
GF Oak Roast salmon parfait with beetroot, cucumber and tomato salad

Main Course.
Served with Selected Roasted Vegetables and roast potatoes in duck fat (olive oil for vegetarian dishes).

(GF) British slow cooked chicken with thyme, tomato and chorizo.
GF Fillet of Salmon with peas, haricot vert and sea greens served with a spinach sauce
V Filo pastry “cracker” filled with butternut, beetroot, spinach and goats cheese and served with a cranberry sauce
Diced beef and game with portabello mushroom in a puff pastry case with a light Belgian wheat beer sauce.
GF Roast lamb with a port and rosemary sauce


V Christmas Pudding with Cognac Custard
(GF) Crème Brulee with homemade cranberry and orange ice cream & gingerbread biscuit.

 V Mincemeat & filo rolls with whipped cream and an orange and Cointreau dipping sauce.
